Her first release “WATERDANCE” was a triple award winner and all but one song was written or co- written by Tanya. Tanya was voted “1999 EUROPEAN RISING STAR AWARD” by DJ’s all over Europe. Tanya who has spent years in Nashville touring with everyone from JANIE FRICKE to SKIP EWING to FAITH HILL as a background singer/ fiddler and rhythm guitarist, is now happily touring mainly in Europe with her own show.

APARTMENT # 9 was created especially for the country music fans in Europe because they like their country straight up no chaser, and APARTMENT # 9 is the musical equivalent of a stiff shot of bourbon. It’s not considered a musical faux pas to sing about hurtin' or drinking over the pond. The media moguls have not yet succeeded in brain or should I say (ear) washing the masses there yet.

No foo foo country music here, just gut wrenching ballads, shuffles to the wall and blue eyed soul at its finest. Not to be exclusive of the purists on home soil either, everyone’s welcome here.

Tanya covers cornerstone artists like Vern Gosdin, Tammy Wynette and Connie Smith to name a few and throws in some killer new songs to boot.
